In addition to the articles in Halden Arbeiderblad and Østlandsposten a while back, the newspaper Verdens Gang (VG for short) dedicated an entire page (not counting ads…) to Kim and Ljungblut today.

For the non-Norwegians, in short, it says: He’s proud of releasing about 1 album a year, even though he has been struggling with chronic migraines since he was 7 years old. He uses a medicine that’s effective for a while, but makes him use such high dosages that he has to “get cured” once a year. His migraines are worst in the morning and nights, and he gets migraineattacks every day. The cancelling of gigs this summer is the first time the disease has forced him into actually saying no – because he had no other choice. When he writes his songs, he doesn’t notice how strong/melancholic they are until he’s finished. He writes a lot of his songs when he’s ill, and he feels that feeling ill is crucial to write good art/music. His life is very black and white, meaning he’s a positive man, with a lot of pain. Next year, there will be a new Zeromancer album, and he’s feeling productive as ever. Alex Møklebust and Noralf Ronthi from Zeromancer both helped out on the Ljungblut-album, as well as Sverre Økshoff. He also says that there might be some more Seigmen some day, if they get the right opportunity, even though this is just a big maybe. Also, he tells VG that his son (4 years old) is a big fan of Seigmen and Zeromancer, and wants to be a bassist and a surfer when he grows up.
