Breaking news! Those of you who were at the two Ljungblut gigs at Total last December, might have noticed that photographer Eirik Aspaas was there, documenting the events on b&w film. And soon, you’ll see the result: A beautiful photo book with more than 100 pictures from both the gigs and the hard work that preceded them. He had unlimited acces to the band, so look forward to some candid shots. Backstage, at rehearsals, in the studio, you name it.

…and that’s not all: The book will also contain a CD, with a brand new studio recording of the new song Ljungblut debuted at Total, “Norway has not yet died”, as well as a few live tracks.

Limited, signed, numbered, available from The Garden in April/May.

Kim was just interviewed on NRK Vestfold about the tribute album! He really seemed to like it a lot, and he even had them play ‘Facades’ by Julia Beyer!

Unfortunately, the Ljungblut 7″ that was planned for the December gigs has been cancelled. Another casualty of Kim’s migraine, we can only hope that it’ll be made some other time instead.

And on a lighter note: Ljungblut is back in rehearsals now, to continue the preparations for December. Look out for possible new rehearsal footage in a little while.
